"...his work is definitely of museum quality.
The full-length portrait of our debutante daughter hangs in our
salon next to famous painters of the 17th Century, such as Lucca
Giordano, Mattia Preti, Andrea Vaccaro. How fortunate we are to
have among us such a wonderfully skilled artist..." |

Procedure
The
initial meeting with the client usually takes 1 1/2 hours and
is scheduled at the artist's location or the client's location.
Mr. Babailov prefers to paint
from sittings; however, his extensive experience in working
from life allows him to achieve an outstanding lifelike portrait
strictly from photos when necessary as may be the case when
clients have busy schedules or with children for whom it is
difficult to sit for extended periods. This may also be the

and as well, do pencil or charcoal character studies. Thereafter, Mr.
Babailov selects the best photographs for a portrait and presents them
to the client for approval.
When
it is necessary to work strictly from photographs, close-ups of the
subject are needed as well as some informal snapshots that convey a
sense of the subject's personality. Any photos provided by the client
will be returned upon portrait completion.
A 40% deposit is required during the preparation
session, with the balance due upon acceptance of the final product.
Mr. Babailov works on one assignment at
a time. Normally, a period of two months is required for its completion.
The artist then frames the portrait and ships or delivers it in person.
